We have a programmer !!!!!!!!!!

Here's an update on the progress of Concert Junction. I have found a programmer name Ray Linder. He is located in the U.S. and he knows what he is doing. We are going to use his server to develop the site. So we are set to move full speed ahead and make this social site with all the bells and whistles. I told you this idea was meant to be and I'm excited to get it started and help out all those musicians that need a place to promote their music.

We are going to use a new programming language from Microsoft for Concert Junction. This is a very new programming language just came out in February of this year. It's still in beta testing but hopefully it will work as great as Microsoft says it does. If it works that well we will have one of the first API for a social networking website. Now it is plan plan plan.

Introduction to the vision of Concert Junction!

Concert Junction is an idea that came to me one early morning drive home from work. I remember the exact spot of my trip that I was on when the idea seeded itself in my brain. One thing lead to another and I posted the idea on a network marketing site that I belong to and many people liked the idea and where interested in helping me pursue the reality of Concert Junction!

This idea has been an idea that has brewed in me most of my life at least the notion behind the idea which is music. I have always loved music and felt that music would be part of my life's calling. I played in the school band and when I was a teenager I had played in a couple of bands and did a few live shows. But as most things that happen when you grow up you lose touch with your dreams and they do not become practicle.

So, fast forward about 15 years and I end up with an idea that has to do with music and will bring back to the joys of it. Now 15 years ago I didn't think I would ever be on the internet much less working on a computer. Although the internet was not around 15 years ago in the form that it is now computer's in general where pretty much foreign to me. The internet has brought me the idea that I believe I was born to accomplish and therefore I'm going to pursue this desire for music in my life by implementing a music oriented social networking site CONCERT JUNCTION!

Here is the basic vision and path I want concert junction to follow:

Music oriented social networking website that will bring musicians and fans of music together so that they may discover each other. Doing this will provide bands/musicians to better promote their talents to an audience all around the world. Included in this audience will be all types of music promoters and talent scouts looking for the next big and up coming musicians and they will find it at concert junction. Also concert junction will attract consumers of music which will purchase items from our personal concert junction store and through our affiliations with other merchants.

Unlike most other networking sites like myspace and youtube Concert Junction will cator to the niche of music. This will give bands more of a targeted audience to present their music and merchandise to. Plus we will focus our affiliate products on the target of music. Which we believe will pay off handsomely as the word of our site spreads and we become the main hub of the music industry online.

The next step in the vision of CJ is to start our own record label and recording company with a brick and mortar studio. Bands can sign under our record label and record their music in our studios.

Once this is accomplished we will franchise out our record label and recording studio. This will give the entrepreneurs of the world who are interested in owning a business that has to do with the music industry a chance to make their dreams come true.

This is the vision I believe will come about. You may say how can you be so bold as to say that CJ will be the main hub in the music industry online? With the competition that is out there on the internet You must be bold and stand up for what you believe is destined to happen. You want something bad enough you have to believe that it is already so in order to attain it and that's exactly what I am doing here.

Concert Junction started out with the idea on my way home from work and the idea has been presented online to a select few and they loved the idea. Now we have a logo made and are in the planing stages of the website.

My goal in achieving this is much greater than I have stated. I want to help people especially musicians to get their music heard and heard by the right people so that wonderful and talented musicians can have a chance at making it to the big time. Because without opportunities like this for their music to be heard they may never be discovered and that could mean some great music lost to the masses.

Concert Junction

We have finally come up with a logo for Concert Junction cj for short. After a 2 month search and testing this logo is web 2.0 ish. I think it will go well with our site. I will display it here on the blog for everyone to see. We had quite a few test logo's which I will post as well.

Hopefully we can get this on to some t-shirts soon. CJ is going to not be as huge too start out with as originally planned because the funding is just not there for a huge venture but as the membership grows so will the website and believe me this will be the site that rocks your socks off!

The Music Contest Video

I finally got a video of me embedded into this blog. In the video I explain the music contest and how you can enter. You get to see and hear me. This will help you identify me when reading my blogs and websites. You now know who I am. I'm a real person who loves music of all kinds and I want to see your music videos.

I have this video on www.youtube.com and metacafe.com these are 2 great sites that cater to the masses but concert junction is going to cater to the music industry. That will be our focus and we want as many musicians as we can get their music heard and possible be the next BIG THING!

Music Contest

I'm offering anyone who can sing and play music a chance to send me the videos of you singing and or playing an instrument. This is a music contest and I will select a winner and the winner will get a free featured band segment on Concert Junction when we launch in a few months. Normally I will be charging for this service but I'm looking for a musician who will get featured on launch day.

The Search Continues

It's been about a week since my last post. I'm still in search of a programmer and graphics designer to partner with me and make Concert Junction what I know it can be. I do know a little programming/script installing but nothing near to what needs to be done for this site to come out on top. So I continue the search for the programmers and graphic designers that I need!
